Why BOUND exists
Lewis came through the academy system and played professionally.
He built BOUND to give coaches and performance staff the information that did not exist when he was coming through: a clear view of what happens where a player meets the ground.
Bound Pte. Ltd. is based in Singapore. We design the insole and the software around it, and we test it in the open.
Why football first
Football is the game we know, and it is played through repeated short, intense actions: sprints, stops, turns and landings, mostly in boots, on grass, far from any lab.
That makes it a demanding first test for measuring what happens at the foot, and the place where performance departments can tell us honestly whether that measurement is useful.
We think some of the most important information in football sits under the foot, and that it should be measured honestly.

- Staff make the call.BOUND informs the people who know the players. It does not replace them.
